Jenna’s clinical approach is evidence based, trauma informed, client centred, compassionate, collaborative, and informed by a range of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to CBT. Jenna believes effective therapy leads to increased self-awareness, new skills, and contributes to making lives and relationships healthier and more meaningful. Jenna considers it is a privilege to journey with people through the seasons and challenges they face, and she seeks to contribute hope, support, and skills for growth, change and increased resilience.
When she’s not working, Jenna enjoys being active and outdoors, time with family, friends and animals, or watching movies to relax.

Prior to joining our team Jayne worked as a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse for 18 years, primarily in the psychiatric intensive care unit in a southwest regional hospital in Bunbury, WA. Jayne has always loved working in the mental health space.
While working in psychiatric nursing Jayne witnessed many hospital admissions that would likely have been prevented through earlier psychological intervention. Consequently, Jayne felt the desire to step into this space… and so began her career change and her journey of studying psychology to gain skills and understanding of the psychological processes involved in mental health care.
Jayne brings valuable experience, insight, and compassion in mental and emotional struggles, both on a professional and personal level, including learning through studies, work, her own life, and that of her family and friends. Jayne’s family moved to Australia from England when she was 11 years old. Jayne is now a mum to two adult Aboriginal daughters and grandmother of two young boys. Jayne has also faced multiple life stressors that could have taken a negative turn in her own life, including her experiences of living with Type 1 Diabetes and being an Islet Cell Transplant recipient … instead Jayne has used them to build resilience.
Jayne’s desire is to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions through her work in psychology and she is passionate about supporting individuals, families and communities. Jayne wants to partner with her clients towards their goals, needs and desires, seeking to understand their life’s struggles through the lens of psychology, health, culture, religion and family beliefs. Jayne has a strong interest in chronic health conditions, suicide prevention, and forensic psychology’s role in the legal and criminal justice systems.
Outside of work Jayne enjoys learning about and exploring the Top End, especially with her interests in swimming, hiking, camping and riding her Harley Davidson.

Clare was born and raised in a small country town in South Australia. She moved to Adelaide to complete her undergraduate degree in Psychology, while also working in the disability sector. At the end of 2023, Clare relocated to the Northern Territory for a gap year and has been excited to make Darwin her new home. Initially working in a local disability support service, Clare enjoyed both supporting participants and taking on team leadership opportunities. Clare loves working with children, youth and adults in ways to empower and make authentic connections. This inspired her to pursue her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Charles Darwin University.
Clare’s interest in a psychology career was initially shaped by her experience recovering from a sports injury. Her psychology interest grew through work in the disability sector, especially with neurodiverse people. These experiences sparked a deep curiosity about why people think, feel, and behave the way they do, and reinforced her commitment to providing compassionate, informed support to those in need.
As a Provisional Psychologist, Clare has worked at the CDU Health Hub Psychology Service, as well as under the Department of Education Student Wellbeing, Inclusion and Program Services (SWIPS) team. In these roles, she has gained experience providing psychological assessment and therapy to a range of client presentations.
In her spare time, you will often find Clare kicking a ball around, soaking up the sunshine on a walk, cooking up a storm, curling up with a good book, crocheting or spending quality time with friends.
