Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve answered the most common questions to help you feel informed, supported, and confident.

Yes. We provides both face-to-face and telehealth (video and phone call) options, making quality mental health care accessible across NT, in Sydney, and Australia-wide. If you were planning to attend in person but are unable to, then we’re happy to change session format to telehealth at short notice.
Your first session will include a compassionate assessment of your needs, discussion of goals, and a clear explanation of the therapeutic process and confidentiality.
You don’t need a referral for private self-funded sessions or EAP sessions or NDIS. For some other types of services you will need a GP referral. Please call us to discuss your situation so we can help you explore your options.
Many sessions qualify for Medicare rebates with a valid GP referral. Most private health funds also offer psychology rebates – contact your health fund to check your coverage and eligibility. We also offer various compensation treatment services with appropriate referral. Please call us to discuss options.
We have a variety of referral options, including free or discounted services for those that cannot afford sessions, or free EAP sessions for those who qualify. NDIS and compensation services are available. We can also offer services with rebates such as Medicare and Private Health Insurance.
Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
